Target group

ATINATI will work with staff members and parents of KG #1 in Zugdidi municipality, KG #2 in Khoni Municipality, KG #5 in Poti , KGs in Tskaltubo, Kutaisi, Qareli and Marneuli municipality and the representatives of respective pre-school education management agencies.

Project goal

To promote work efficiency, improve quality of teaching methodology and general learning environment in the sector of pre-school education which is regarded as foundations for lifelong learning and development in targeted locations of Georgia with a high concentration of IDPs in a general contribution to IDP integration in country. 


Objective

    Specific objective 1
To analyze and evaluate the outcomes and practices of the work performed by local stakeholder in the sector of pre-school education in all targeted institutions and share the achievements and challenges, difficulties encountered and their solutions, while elaborating recommendations for further actions and creation the network for future cooperation of pre-school education institutions.
    Specific objective 2
To promote the child's personal development and preparation for school and future life, through capacity building of the pre-school education personnel for better understanding of the child's individuality and psychological peculiarities including key aspects of inclusive education. 

Activity:

•    Trainings for persons involved in Pre-School  Education Institutions work: kindergarten staff (teacher-educator, caregiver, director), parent and representatives of the centers of preschool education in respective municipalities;
•    Inter-vision – professional inter-consultations of colleagues;
•    Different activities for increasing parents’ (especially fathers’) involvement in child’s life and deepen their pedagogical attitudes (sport competition, quizzes, meetings);
•    Psychological workshops and consultations for preschool education institutions staff and parents;
•    Development of Teachers’ Book forPre-School Institution staff by using AFLATOT methodology
•    Study visits to European (Polish and German) kindergartens for sharing experience, teaching methodology and pedagogical approaches of European kindergartens;
•    Sharing European (Polish) experience for representatives of preschool management agencies in different regions of Georgia;
