Building inclusive environment for children

  

Project:

The project is implemented by the association "Atinati" in partnership with the Slovak organization "Research Institute of Child Psychology and Pathopsychology" and with the financial assistance of SlovakAid - Official Development Assistance of the Slovak Republic and the support of the Embassy of Slovakia in Georgia.

Target Region:

Samegrelo Region, Martvili municipality

Target Group:

Children, parents and representatives of pre-school educational institutions living in Martvil Municipality.

Project Aim:

The project aims to: retrain representatives of pre-school educational institutions (directors, teachers, educators) operating in the municipality of Martvil, share Slovakian experience, educate parents, organize meetings, trainings and psychological-educational seminars, supplying teachers with various digital resources, Arrangement of an inclusive room in the Martvili #2 kindergarten - equipment that will be available for a child with special needs living in the municipality. 

Project Task:

Developing the capacity of the staff members of pre-school educational institutions, providing them with information about the individuality and psychological characteristics of the child, including the main aspects of inclusive education.

Activities according to tasks: 

• Trainings for persons involved in preschool institutions;
• Psychological seminars and consultations for the staff of preschool institutions and parents of children;
• Reconstruction of the building of the kindergarten and arrangement of an inclusive room in the kindergarten - equipment that will be available for a child with special needs living in the municipality.
